Kirsten Kelly (she/her) is an Emmy and Golden Telly Award-winning documentary filmmaker, impact storytelling producer, and narrative change media maker. Her film highlights include This Is Where I Learned Not To Sleep, which won a 2024 SIMA Impact Award and a 2023 Purple Ribbon Award, and the Emmy-winning The Homestretch (PBS/Kartemquin Films, PBS American Graduate Initiative), which was supported by Sundance, Chicken & Egg Films, and MacArthur with an impact campaign spanning 800+ community screenings nationwide. Her other films include The Girl with the Rivet Gun; Stranger/Sister; Asparagus! Stalking the American Life; and the Telly Award-winning Healing the Healers, a digital mental health series which examined issues such as domestic violence,  mass shootings, and teen mental health. She holds a Masters in Directing from Juilliard and has directed theater productions regionally and Off-Broadway. She is based in Brooklyn, NY.
